NewsInterZoo 2010 – International Trade Fair for Pet Supplies
Akvatera participates at the world’s biggest exhibition for pet supplies – InterZoo 2010. The great importance of Interzoo was impressively proved in its anniversary year 2008 by new record levels of participation: more than 37,000 trade visitors came to Nuremberg from 114 countries to source information about the latest products and services from some 1,400 exhibitors. Akvatera develops, manufactures and markets dry extruded dog and cat food ranging in quality from economy to premium, various small animal foods with a high quality and a good value for money ratio. Today the company supplies a wide range of pet foods, brands and private label, for the major supermarket chains in Lithuania as well as many pet trade retailers in the Baltic region. The Importance of QualityFrom the very beginning Akvatera invested not only in modern technology but in the quality and professionalism of their staff. Experienced pet food professionals from Europe were invited there to join the company. Therefore, pet food recipes are formulated according to pets` feeding requirements based on the world know-how and standarts.
Raw materialsIn manufacturing our products we only use raw materials of stable and proven quality, processed using up-to-date technology (digitally controlled, computer-driven machinery, as well as high-tech extrusion technology. Additionally, we have special equipment to finalise the product in the forms required by pets including crunchiness, texture, starch gelatinisation level, expanding, etc. It is no surprise that the quality of the products are on a level comparable to that of food destined for human consumption, and in accordance with international standards. Therefore, quality control is present throughout the entire production cycle: from receiving raw materials all the way up to the packaging phase. |
